WHAT IS BLOGABILITY?
We are three work at home moms who built online businesses from the ground up so that we could stay home with our little ones. We have all been bombarded with questions like “how do I start a blog?” or “how do you even make money?” We hope that BLOGABILITY will be your source of the answers to all of those questions. We are so grateful for the financial freedom we have because of our online businesses, and hope that we can share the knowledge we’ve gained over the 15 years combined blogging experience.
WHO ARE WE?
Wife to Bryce. Mom of three littles. Partner/Owner at Pretty Providence LLC. Mormon. Lover of food, books, music and beaches.
“I can remember one night feeling down about myself, business wise. I was overwhelmed with all the things on my to-do list, and frustrated with how little time I had to work. I must have said something negative, and Bryce said, “are you kidding me babe? You are living the American Dream! You started with nothing and built a business and an income for yourself, working from home, doing something that you love. I’m so proud of you.” It was the first time I ever stepped back and thought about the blog in that way, and I felt a rush of pride. I can’t begin to describe how good it feels to have a job that you’ve built from the ground up, that is a perfect fit for me, that I enjoy, and that pays better than any job I’ve ever had.”
Wife to Scott. Mom to 2 crazy boys and 1 sassy girl. Owner of Over the Big Moon. Lover of backyard games, BBQ’s, a clean house and donuts!
“Growing up if anybody asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always answer them “a mom.” After I had my first son at the age of 25, I quickly got consumed in my new mommy gig. I added my second son just under 2 years later. However, during this time of my life, I just kept feeling like something was missing. That is when I started Over the Big Moon – a place where I could share all phases of my life! I knew I wanted to create a business and have a creative outlet, but didn’t want to go back to working full time. Being a mom was and always will be my priority! BUT, that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t be a successful business woman! Over the last 5 years I have had MANY ups and MANY downs! At different times I felt overwhelmed and unbalanced! But, I have refined my work/life balance and have created a very successful business that I am so proud of and helps me provide a better life for my family! And, I’ve done it all from my couch (and home office)!”
A wife, mom to June, owner/partner at Pretty Providence LLC. Love blogging, thrifting, DIY, Dr. Pepper and rap music. Almost always wearing stripes.
“I never thought that I would own a business. However, I read blogs every day and wished I could ‘be a blogger.’ What did that mean? I honestly didn’t know. I had a blog, but I wanted to learn how to do it right. I wanted to connect with an audience, to fit time into my busy life to create something and share it with the world. To be heard. To have more freedom. Now that I look at it, I have all of those things, and I make a living from it too. My new goal is to take what I’ve learned and share it with you!”
